Indian Hill High School presents…..
Extreme Theater, a 24-hour theatrical challenge, Saturday, April 21, 7:30 pm

This unique theatre event allows students to explore various aspects of the theatre process. Students will work in teams that consist of actors and technical theatre students. Each team will meet twice before the 24-hour challenge to brainstorm and organize what aspect of the challenge each student will lead.
As part of the challenge, each team captain will select a theme and location to create one 15-minute original show using sound, light, costumes, makeup, and scenic elements.
Theatre Director Katie Arber and Technical Director Scott Kimmins have also created a technical checklist with specific elements in each of the above categories that each team must present in their shows.

IH Spotlight

On April 29, 2018, The Spotlight Variety Show will celebrate it’s 20th performance, showcasing the amazing talents of IH students in grades K-5.  Spotlight is not only a talent show, it is also an essential fundraiser for the IH Music and Art Department, and 100% of the proceeds directly benefit these programs at the Primary and Elementary schools.  Do you have a K-5 student who would love to share their talents on the big stage?  If the answer is yes, mark your calendars with the following dates:

THANK YOU

THANKS to all families who have already signed up their Kroger Card to help Indian Hill Schools! We earned over $5500 in 6 months which we will put to work in all schools this year.  We purchase groceries every week and it is easy for our school to earn $$ every time you swipe your card! Please register your card soon so you can help make a difference at school. These funds enrich our students each day with the extras!

“The ongoing collaboration between the PTO and our schools in the Indian Hill Exempted Village School District provides a strategic advantage for our students and staff. This collaboration provides significant opportunities for parents and staff members to work together to enhance student success in academics, the arts, and athletics. Our parents remain active participants in a variety of educational processes, programs, and events and are welcomed and valued by our staff members.

As a result, our parents and staff members support all children in our district as we create memorable and meaningful educational experiences. Ultimately, the partnership between the PTO and our schools allows the district to uphold its vision of Enduring Excellence in Learning, Leadership, Innovation, and Service.” ~Mark T.
