PTO welcomes you to the first of three Tuesday night book clubs with Dr. Melissa Stewart!  We are so glad you can join us and are looking forward to some challenging and stimulating conversation about the chosen book. Sophmore Re-Do Day January 10th

The Sophomore class will participate in the annual ReDo Day.  A program facilitated by the Violence Free Coalition, “ReDo is committed to creating school environments that encourage respect. We believe that respect is an action. When students participate in ReDo Day they will be asked to commit to:”
  • Respecting their peers
  • Engaging the people around them and learning their stories
  • Defending anyone they see being bullied
  • Overcoming stereotypes.

COSI on Wheels – January 11

The Center for Science and Industry (COSI) will be visiting IHES on Thursday, January 11th and we need your help to make it a success. This dynamic, interactive, school-wide event is titled “It’s Simply Chemistry” and will stimulate imaginations of the next generation of scientists. Students will use chemistry to help solve a mystery, create endothermic and exothermic reactions, experience a chemical reaction that produces light without heat, and much more.  Please use the link below to join us!

IH Spotlight – Save the Dates!

On April 29, 2018, The Spotlight Variety Show will celebrate it’s 20th performance, showcasing the amazing talents of IH students in grades K-5.  Spotlight is not only a talent show, it is also an essential fundraiser for the IH Music and Art Department, and 100% of the proceeds directly benefit these programs at the Primary and Elementary schools.  Do you have a K-5 student who would love to share their talents on the big stage?  If the answer is yes, mark your calendars with the following dates:

Does your 1st or 2nd grader love science?  Does he/she love to figure out how things work?  Then have them join Crystal Clear Science Club after school on Wednesday’s this Fall.  Registration starts now and ends August 30th.  There will be a max of 20 students, so don’t wait!  Club will be filled on a first come first serve basis with a time stamp.  Use the link below for your convenience.  Once registered your child will be sent to the club meeting unless you send a note.


Does your child love to draw?  Give your child a creative outlet after school.  Young Rembrandts will be offered to our students after school 3:30pm-4:40pm on Thursday’s starting September 7th.  Registration starts now and ends August 31st, so don’t delay!  Once registered your child will be sent to the club meeting unless a note is sent.

THANKS to all families who have already signed up their Kroger Card to help Indian Hill Schools! We earned over $5500 in 6 months which we will put to work in all schools this year.  We purchase groceries every week and it is easy for our school to earn $$ every time you swipe your card!
